The Borno State Scholarship Board (BSSB) is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2024/2025 scholarship application process for Borno State indigenes pursuing undergraduate studies in recognized Nigerian institutions.

The 2024/2025 Borno state scholarship online application portal have been announced. According to the Borno State Scholarship Board (BSSB), the portal will be accessible from Monday, 7th July to Tuesday 14th August, 2025, via the official website. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, the BSSB, have announced that all interested candidates must meet these criteria;
- Only Bona fide Indigene Of Borno State are eligible
- Applicant must be in their first year of Study (ND1, HND1, NCE1 for Colleges of Education, Year 1 & DE Year 2
- Masters Students are also eligible
- 2023/2024 Academic sessions are also eligible (only for those who have problems in the previous application)
- You must be a duly registered students of your respective institution.
- You must Upload a passport photograph (Red Background), have a copy of your school admission letter, and your registration receipt.
How to Apply for Borno State Scholarship
Interested and eligible candidates for the 2024/2025 Borno scholarship are to submit their application forms online by visiting the Borno State Scholarship Board (BSSB) website at https//bssb.bo.gov.ng while on the website, all applicants are to signup and complete their profile, making sure all information are correctly entered. All candidates should make sure they use active email address and phone number so they can easily be contacted if need be.
